MTV contributor Shaheem Reid, who has apparently had an opportunity to preview the METALLICA/JA RULE track writes the following about it in her report:
“ 'Who loves a little rock and roll mixed with a little hip-hop soul?' JA growls, provoking METALLICA to holla back, 'We do!' 'More than this/ Nevermore your whipping board,' METALLICA go on to spurt, while JA proclaims himself 'A rock star born in the U.S.A.'
“On initial listens to 'We Did It Again', SWIZZ's beat is a little difficult for the ears to catch up with. A few of the riffs sound LINKIN PARK-ish, and he switches up tempos several times. But hey, who said rap and roll was easy?”
The metal world is waiting with bated breath (cough, cough).
